What payment options do you offer? Can I pay in few payments?
We accept cash, Interac e-transfer and credit card; card payments carry a surcharge of up to 4%. Ontario HST of 13% applies to invoiced jobs. On larger projects we can set a payment schedule in your contract, so ask us about splitting the payment.
At Tucasa Home Improvement we aim for a fair price and payment options that make your project easy and hassle-free.
- Cash. Accepted on any job. We give you a receipt.
- Interac e-transfer. Accepted on any job, with no fee. Send it to the address on your invoice.
- Credit card. Accepted; a surcharge of up to 4% covers the cost of the card terminal, and we tell you before you pay.
- Split payments. On larger projects we can set a payment schedule in your contract, for example a deposit, a payment mid-way and the balance on completion. Ask us when we quote.
- Deposits. Small jobs need no deposit. For larger projects or special-order materials, any deposit is written into your contract before work starts.
- Invoices. You get a written invoice for every job, with the work listed and HST shown separately, so you have a clear record for warranty or insurance purposes.
- Estimate fees. If you paid a fee for an estimate visit and go ahead with the work within 30 days, that fee is credited back against the job.
Ontario HST of 13% applies to all invoiced work. Our minimum service charge is $150 for up to one hour of work; beyond that we bill hourly or agree a set price for the whole job.
