Our minimum service charge is $150 for work of up to one hour. Beyond that, time is billed hourly or we agree a set price with you for the whole job, whichever suits it better. Larger jobs are always quoted as a fixed written price, so there are no surprises on the invoice. Prices are in Canadian dollars and Ontario HST (13%) is added. It depends on the room. Vinyl plank is water-resistant and forgiving, good for kitchens, bathrooms and basements. Laminate is affordable and wears well in living areas. Tile lasts longest in wet rooms but is cold underfoot. Hardwood adds value and warmth but costs more and needs care. We help you choose and we install all of them.

They light a room evenly, take no visual space, use far less power than old bulbs, and last for years. They suit low ceilings and can be aimed at artwork or a work area. Our electrician installs them to code.

LED pot lights use a fraction of the power of incandescent bulbs, so lighting costs drop, especially with a dimmer. One old 100 W bulb uses about as much power as a dozen LED pot lights. Installation cost depends on ceiling access and wiring, which we see before quoting.

Pot lights give clean, even, directional light and a modern look. A ceiling fixture gives more decorative choice and is easier to change later. Many rooms use both: pot lights for general light and one fixture as the feature. We install either.

Shut off the water, flush, disconnect the supply, unbolt and lift the old toilet, scrape the flange, set a new wax ring, lower the new toilet onto the bolts, tighten gently, reconnect, check for leaks and caulk the base. It is doable in an afternoon with the right tools. If you would rather not, our licensed plumber does it.

Fresh paint in neutral colours, modern light fixtures, new baseboards and casing, a tidy backsplash, updated vanity and taps, and vinyl or laminate flooring where the old floor is tired. Fix the small things that buyers notice first: doors, caulking, grout, switches. All of these are jobs we do.

A handyman handles repairs and smaller installs quickly and at a lower rate. A contractor manages large, multi-trade projects. We do both sides: the small jobs ourselves and the bigger renovations with our licensed tradespeople, under one estimate.

Cash, e-transfer and credit card. Credit card payments carry a surcharge of up to 4% to cover the card terminal. Ontario HST of 13% applies to invoiced jobs. Ask us about splitting payment on larger projects.
